Las Vegas, Nevada — Today the Israeli-American Coalition for Action (IAC for Action) commended Israel and Nevada for signing a major new Memorandum of Understanding, which will deepen cooperation between the two states in the area of water technology. The Israeli-American Coalition for Action worked intensively to encourage and support policymakers in Nevada and Israel as they developed a framework for collaboration in water technology research and development.

“This agreement provides new opportunities for cooperation that will benefit both Nevada and Israel by broadening and deepening research and development collaboration in the critical area of water management and conservation,” said IAC for Action Chairman Shawn Evenhaim. “From our inception a year ago, the IAC for Action has been engaged in facilitating partnerships between Israel and state and local governments. We will continue to work in Nevada and around the country to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship by identifying opportunities for both Americans and Israelis to tap into each other’s tremendous wealth of innovation and expertise.”

The agreement was signed on December 12th by Nevada’s WaterStart and the Israel Innovation Authority at the BusinessH2O Water Management Best Practices conference hosted by the U.S.-Israel Business Initiative and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas, Nevada.
