The measure, introduced in the Senate by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and in the House by Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY), makes clear that is in the U.S. national interest to combat Anti-Semitism overseas. This legislation enhances reporting requirements on the State Department regarding the security challenges faced by European Jewish communities and the efforts of our government to work with European governments to combat them.
With global Anti-Semitism on the rise, this bill sends a strong message that the U.S. will not tolerate Anti-Semitism, wherever it rears its ugly head.
IAC for Action welcomes this bill and encourages Congress to combat Anti-Semitism using every tool at its disposal.
