The Israeli-American Coalition for Action (IAC for Action) is a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(4) organization that advocates to policymakers nationwide on behalf of the pro-Israel and Israeli-American Communities.

A sister organization of the Israeli-American Council, IAC for Action works to make the voices of Israeli-Americans heard on a range of issues at the federal, state, and local level, including:

• Fighting the delegimitization of Israel: IAC for Action is currently working with U.S. policymakers to advance legislation that will prevent state and local government entities from investing in or doing business with those that participate in boycotts of Israel.
• Strengthening the U.S-Israel relationship: IAC for Action supports the IAC’s efforts to build partnerships between Israel and the United States. This includes strategic partnership agreements between state and local government entities to advance collaborative innovation through intergovernmental working groups, sister-city relationships, and exchanges between academics, civil society organizations, and policymakers.
• Domestic policy: IAC for Action advocates for a range of domestic issues including public safety, emergency preparedness, improving the campus climate for Jewish students, and other issues important to the Israeli-American community.

IAC for Action is the partner advocacy organization of the IAC. IAC for Action’s work will complement the IAC’s existing advocacy mission. It provides another tool for the Israeli-American Community to make its voice heard.

The IAC will continue to pursue its three-part mission to ensure Jewish and Israeli identity, develop Israeli-Americans as leaders in the United States, and strengthen the U.S.-Israel Alliance.

The IAC for Action will focus exclusively on advocacy and legislative initiatives.

IAC for Action will provide Israeli-Americans with additional tools to advocate with lawmakers on issues of domestic and foreign policy that are important for our community.

IAC for Action’s work is complementary to other pro-Israel organizations. By mobilizing the Israeli-American community in advocacy, the IAC and IAC for Action create a strategic asset for the rest of the pro-Israel and Jewish community. We will pursue our unique work of building strategic partnerships between U.S. state and local governments and Israeli agencies and institutions, while continuing to work closely with organizations that share our goal of strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship on federal, state and local levels.

No. As a non-partisan, non-profit organization, IAC for Action will not support specific political candidates or parties. The views of our members span the political spectrum, reflecting the great diversity of opinion within the Israeli-American community.
